IVO (InfoVision Optoelectronics) has announced a Source IC change affecting M101GWWF R0 and related LCD CELL models, including P101GWWF R0, G101GWWF R0 and C101GWWF R0.
According to IVO's Engineering Change Notice (ECN260900001), the change is intended to maintain stable supply and improve production processes.
1. Source IC Change Details
The original Source IC supplier is transitioning its products to another manufacturing source due to production capacity constraints.
The main changes announced for M101GWWF R0 are:
| Item | Previous Version | New Version |
|---|---|---|
| Source IC | EK79202B (Taiwan) | EK79202D (Mainland China) |
| VGH Voltage | 19V | 15V |
| Change Type | — | Running Change |
| Implementation | — | From the end of August 2026 |
The change also includes manufacturing process optimization to improve driving performance.
2. Affected LCD Models
The relevant LCD CELL models include:
- M101GWWF R0
- P101GWWF R0
- G101GWWF R0
- C101GWWF R0
Customers using these models are advised to confirm the applicable Source IC revision before placing new orders.
3. Old Source IC No Longer Available
The previous Source IC version is no longer available in stock.
Future supply will use the updated IC version. Customers with ongoing projects should arrange sample evaluation as soon as possible to avoid potential production delays.
4. Compatibility and Sample Validation
The updated Source IC is expected to be generally compatible with existing applications.
However, as the Source IC and VGH voltage have changed, sample validation is strongly recommended before mass production.
Customers should confirm display performance and system compatibility under their actual operating conditions.
5. Contact SUNYO LCD
SUNYO LCD can assist customers with updated IC version information, sample availability and supply arrangements.
If your project uses M101GWWF R0, P101GWWF R0 or G101GWWF R0, please contact us to arrange sample validation.
